H09D for Elston Hire

UK's first Hanix H09D mini-digger
goes to Elston Hire

Elston Hire

Lancashire-based Elston Hire is the first UK hirer to take delivery of Hanix's latest H09D mini-excavator

Located on a semi-rural site, within easy reach of the motorway network at Eccleston, near Chorley, the family-owned and operated business provides a well-established customer base of hirers with both construction plant and agricultural equipment.

In addition to plant hire, Mark and Sonya Elston run Elston Machinery Ltd - a separate sales dealership handling a number of leading brands, as well as being main dealer for Hanix mini-excavators.

Mark Elston, who has been selling and hiring Hanix mini diggers for over 5 years is truly excited by the H09D and says: "It's a superb machine and I believe it's the best in its class. It has a 7.8kW Kubota engine and is fitted with hydraulic servo controls. This means you get tremendous machine power with smooth, responsive control. It's great for smaller building jobs like digging footings for extensions and conservatories where access into gardens is often through narrow gateways. Mr Elston adds: "Hirers also benefit from the fact that it's easy to operate and can be transported on a standard 8x4 trailer. It's a very durable machine that can take the knocks and, with its 'cylinder above boom' design, the hydraulic cylinder is protected against potential damage when digging."

The Hanix H09D's combination of Kubota super mini range engine and variable piston pump maximises machine power for all kinds of scraping, trenching, loading and groundwork tasks. The compact H09D is ideal for jobs in confined spaces. In work mode, the tracks expand from 75cm to 95cm wide to give enhanced stability whilst digging. With rubber tracks, the H09D weighs only 980kg and crosses surfaces with minimal ground compaction or impact on paved areas. A travel speed of 3.6km/h means it is able to move quickly around sites.

Thanks to its hydraulically retractable tracks, the H09D can readily access narrow openings and, with integrated folding ROPS, is able to pass through doorways with low headroom clearance. Operator comfort and good visibility is achieved with the machine's elevated seat position and conveniently located joystick controls. Entry and exit for the operator is assisted by a hand rail, and a large clear space provides good leg room.

Ian Seddon, UK sales executive for Hanix Europe, comments: "Everyone is impressed with the H09D, which has already proved popular with dealers and owners in mainland Europe. Its launch into the UK market is creating a great deal of interest and we're confident that this machine will be a top seller."

Like all Hanix mini-excavators sold in the UK and Ireland, the H09D is Datatag protected as standard and registered under the construction industry equipment security registration scheme.
